Her career began in 2021 when she inherited the fly tying box from her father-in-law, which dates back to the 1980s. She started by trying to tie the old Swedish pattern "Super pupa" and was immediately hooked. "Today I love tying patterns that are new and challenging for me. It motivates me to tie them as perfectly as possible. I spent a perfect day in a clear river with a #4 fishing rod in my hand, trying to spot grayling or trout." She first started tying flies and only later did she dedicate herself to actual fishing. At the beginning of her fly tying career, she fell in love with deer hair and played with feathers. Thus, many "Streaking caddis" and several "Wally wings" have left her grip and... especially her favorite: "Screaming banshee". 

@Nina Bävits started tying flies 3 years ago and only later also started fly fishing. His favorite artificial is the “Screaming banshee”, a must-see at the Italian Fly Tying Show, @EOSshow on February 8th and 9th 2025.
