Born and living in Parma, Nicola Damaschi has always fished traditionally, mostly in the bolognese style, thanks to his father and his passion.

He discovered fly fishing rather late and by chance, 'but so much beauty and harmony convinced me that I had to learn... and I'm still trying!'.

He likes to fish on the ever rarer boilies, also on the chase, especially in fast currents, but a nice nymph fishing also gives him satisfaction.

Construction came as a consequence and now takes up a lot of his spare time: he loves classic dressing and their charm, but also newer ones, with a particular fondness for natural materials.
